I haven't posted a journal for almost a year! (last time I posted was on Dec the 25th last year!) Since then I have done my GCSE's and gone to Australia to further my studies in July to experience the 'joys' of boarding school. I must admit the last six months have been an emotional rollercoaster- attempting to fit in, having to make new friends and catch up on half a year's work and doing my grade 8 piano exams...all this has not been easy. Thankfully, it's all over so I won't bore you with the details- this is basically a post on how grateful I am to be back in Brunei with my family for Christmas.

So today I have posted a number of photos from my art in school. It's loosely based on the work of Bill Henson- although it doesn't involve ambiguous situations and naked teenagers. My model is a year 8 from boarding house, she's so poised for her age, I'm so glad I chose her to be my model- I didn't even have to tell her to pose a certain way, I just showed her a couple of photos for ideas and she did the rest, so please do take a look in full view of the photos and comment on it, thanks
